Do you know Jesus?
I don’t mean do you know about Jesus. I mean, do you know who He is?
What is He to you?
Take a moment and answer those questions honestly to yourself.
According the Bible there are a few things Jesus should be to you.
1.Jesus is- The ONLY way
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'” John 14:6(NIV)
Jesus is our salvation. First and foremost, I want you to know that. Regardless of what the world tries to say, there is no way to Heaven other than through Jesus. There is no other redemption of sins. Always. Only. Jesus.
If that statement makes you uncomfortable, then good, you’re exactly who I want these words to reach. I encourage you to dive into the Word for yourself. Read it. Study it. Meditate on it. Find out the truth. It is life to those who find it.
2. Jesus is- Lord over my life
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9(NIV)
Jesus is Lord. That means He’s in charge.
Another word for lord is master, or ruler. He has the final say. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we also make him Lord over our lives. Meaning the old ways of sin we used to follow, don’t have any authority or power over us. We have to walk away from those things.
We have to do things God’s way. That doesn’t mean that we will never sin again and do everything perfect. Because, trust me, we won’t. But we should be living a life that is actively and continually seeking the will of God.
If there is an area of your life that is contrary to the Word or will of God- put it down.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21(NIV)
3. Jesus is- Cornerstone
“Therefore thus says the Lord God, ‘Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed.'” Isaiah 28:16
He’s foundation. He’s rock. He’s steadfast. Eternal. Unmovable. Unshakable. Constant. Strong.
He’s our safe place. He’s what we build our lives, our hope, our future, our salvation, our relationship on. He’s everything.
Foundation is mandatory for anything that lasts.
Read that again.
If you aren’t building your life on the Cornerstone, you aren’t building anything eternal.
These are just some of the things the Bible says about Jesus. There is so much more in the Word about the character and nature of Christ. I encourage you to read it for yourself.
But these are the three that have been heavy on my heart lately. I don’t know who this is for. Maybe it’s for you reading this right now. Maybe it’s to share with someone you know that needs to hear it. I don’t know.
But what I do know is Jesus is coming back. So people, get ready. And if you are ready, tell somebody that isn’t.
If you’ve never accepted Jesus as your Savior and would like to do so, you don’t have to be in a church or with a pastor. You can accept Jesus right there where you are reading this now.
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,”’and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10(NIV)
“It’s the word of faith that welcomes God to go to work and set things right for us. This is the core of our preaching. Say the welcoming word to God—’Jesus is my Master’—embracing, body and soul, God’s work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That’s it. You’re not ‘doing’ anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That’s salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: ‘God has set everything right between him and me!'” Romans 10:9-10(MSG)
Make a choice today to call on Jesus and make Him Master. This is an eternal decision. Make the right one.
Be Blessed!

AMEN!!! A really good timely message.
