He’ll Do It

He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.”

Daniel 2:21(NIV)

God anoints and appoints. Period. You don’t have to strive to get to where God is already taking you. That means you can rest where you’re at, on the way to where you’re going. You don’t need to be in a rush. No need to hustle the Heavens. God’s timing is perfect and His Word is true. Every word He says will come to pass. So if He said it, it’s settled.

“For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:3(NIV)

You are not in charge of manufacturing anointing or manipulating man. God is steadfast. He will take you where you need to be.

This is the reminder for those of you on the verge of letting go of your God-given dreams: He will do it. Settle that in your soul and rest.

It doesn’t matter how long it takes- His timing is perfect. It doesn’t matter what circumstances need to be rearranged- His strength extends to the far ends of the Earth.

We begin to feel frustrated when we are striving to do something that we either can not control or should not be trying to.

Take your frustrations to God. He cares for you. Stroll into your prayer closet with your hands full of all your anger, confusion, frustration- and leave it there. Ask the Lord what needs to change and don’t be surprised if the answer is you, not your circumstances. Because God cares more about who you become, than what you create or accomplish.

I’ve found that when things aren’t going like I feel they should, the best way to “check-in” on Heaven’s plans is to analyze your own personal relationship with the Lord. Not in what you are doing for the Lord, not in your church attendance, not in your following or platform. But how is your love life with the Lord? Most of the time, the one thing that we need to do is wait on the Lord. This is always most easily done in His presence. We wait on the Lord by sitting at His feet and letting Him pour into us.

If we try to skip this step, try to fulfill all of God’s plans without any of God’s presence, we will be working really hard at going nowhere.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33(NIV)

When we seek the Lord’s presence and take time to sit and listen for His voice, we are instilled with all the things we need to progress.

I’ve found that I also remain content in the waiting when I’m focusing on Jesus, rather than what I want Jesus to do for me.

He is faithful to take you where you need to be. Just spend time in His presence while He works on your behalf.

He’s good. He’ll do it.

Be Blessed!
