Marrying Mr. Man of God

“Stop wasting time on all of the wrong Mr. Rights. Your Mr. Man of God is waiting.

-Jordan Smith, Marrying Mr. Man of God

“The person you marry is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. It will determine a lot about your future. This choice is too often made without first consulting God.

Marrying Mr. Man of God provides an example of how to have ears to hear God’s instruction and a heart that follows it faithfully. It gives you the courage you need to defy the world’s idea of dating and exchange it for a goldy, prosperous, and effective future.

John 10:1 describes God as “THE GOOD SHEPHERD” for a reason. He sees things we cannot. He knows our future, and best of all, He writes our story. But following God’s plan when it doesn’t look like the one we’ve designed takes a bold, brave, leap of faith. In this book, you will find inspiration and encouragement to take the plunge into the plans of Christ.

It’s easy to become discouraged in the wait. The time between trusting God and receiving your promise can be a constant struggle between what you believe and what you see. Do not give up hope! God has a happily ever after written just for you too.

This is a journey, not a fairytale. This is a miracle, not make-believe. This is a reality, not a romantic novel. This is a love story. It won’t begin with once upon a time, but it does have a happily ever after— not because it will all be perfect, but because it will all be held together by a perfect God.”- excerpt from back cover description.

It’s here! It’s here! It’s finally here! After years of writing, praying, editing and more editing- Marrying Mr. Man of God is FINALLY available for purchase. You can get yours here —> CLICK ME

This book is the honest outpouring of my heart about my journey to find my husband. Its intention is to make the journey easier on the next girl who wants to do things God’s way.

If I’m being completely honest with you, this release is slightly terrifying. Writing is pretty much just being as vulnerable as possible in hopes that the reader can connect with your heart. And my heart truly desires to reach all the women that are frustrated with the wait and begging God to just, “TELL ME WHAT TO DO!”

Maybe the content of the book doesn’t apply to you specifically, but to someone you know and love. I’ve had mother’s who are worried about their daughters struggling with hurtful relationships, ask me what to tell their daughters to make them feel better. I’ve had friends call me crying with questions, and clients, (because as a hairdresser I double as a therapist) asking for advice. And my heart bubbles over with things I want to say. But I feel overwhelmed because I don’t know how to say it all in one short conversation.

Releasing this book feels like one big exhale. I can finally say everything I want to say to each and every one of those women without jumbling it all into one moment. And now you can too!

I know I’m biased, but this little piece of my heart will make a great Christmas gift this year. Get one for your sister, your cousin, your bff, your dog… ok, maybe not your dog but everyone else you can think of!

I’m so excited to share this with you all. God has been so faithful.

I’ve put this book down and to the side more times than I can count. I gave up, I changed my mind, I decided it was too hard and too big. But every time God so graciously nudged me to pick it back up. One day at a time, His mercies cheered me on and pulled me forward. I’m so glad He didn’t give up on me. I’m so honored that He blessed me with this story.

And more than all the things I’m feeling about this book release, I’m feeling released myself. This message has been heavy on my heart for so long now. It feels good to have the job done and to take the next step in my calling.

“Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election.” 2 Peter 1:10 (NIV)

God,

I did what You said. I hope it pleases You. Have Your way with it now.

Love Your Baby Girl,
